My name is Lockie Ackerman, I'm based in Columbus, OH and I've been working professionally with dogs for more than 6 years. I graduated from National K9 Learning Center in 2019. Im an Associate member of the IACP (international association of canine professionals) and National K-9 Association. I'm trained in Breed identification, Puppy Temperament Testing, Puppy Pre-School, Behavior Modification, On-Leash Obedience, Off Leash Obedience and more. My goal is to strengthen the bond between families and their dog through obedience training. I have been in the professional dog world in many different settings from daycares, boarding,in home pet sitting and dog walking. I have a 7 year old Persian cat and a 3 year old Lab/Pit mix. 
I offer In- Home Training, message me for evaluation appointments. I'm an in-home dog trainer, traveling to peoples home in the columbus area. I help show owners how to work and train with their dogs giving them the tools they will need to thrive in obedience. 

I have a 1 year old Lab/Pitbull Mix named Cleo, she was my partner in crime going through my schooling. I rescued Cleo at 9 months old, they found her on the streets when she was only 6 months old. I won't train any dog to do something that I didn't train my own dog to do. Cleo can do On-Leash obedience, Off- Leash, Tracking/trailing, Soft Mouth Retrieval, Drug Detection,  Fun Tricks and more!
